Many Canadian Physicians have not yet had the time to do their homework on Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scans. PET scans can find critical disease early. Critical disease is defined as cancer, heart and Alzheimer's diseases. Let your Doctor know that PET scanning is the gold standard for diagnosis, staging and treatment planning critical disease in most countries of the world with the notable exception of Canada.
